I remember the day we toured The Devine School looking for a daycare for our 3 year old and 9 month old. The 3 year olds were doing a "Stretch and Grow" exercise class in the large, open classroom. Our 3 year old jumped right in and that was when I knew this was the right place for my kids. The teachers at The Devine School share our sense of values and respect for others; they reinforce this every day. There is an emphasis on learning, but still lots of time for fun & socialization. Our 3 year old is now 5 and doing great in Kindergarten at our local elementary school. The teachers have so much patience and compassion - I wonder how they do it day in and day out. Yet, over the last three years, so many of the faces are the same.

The Devine School is "A Home Away from Home" and the teachers are mother-like.
It is hard to come to the decision to send your children to a daycare. I have two children at The Devine School, I have been with them for three years. My youngest started as a baby there. Not once, really not once, have I ever questioned our decision in choosing The Devine School. They address concerns immediately and provide a fun, family oriented environment. They treat my children like they are their children. They are friends. I trust The Devine School with my most precious gifts - my girls. I as so grateful that I have been able to have this experience with them. They provide a community for parents too. One of my dearest friends I met through attending events at The Devine School. It is truly more than a daycare, it is a second home!

We have found The Devine School to be a great fit for our son. We find the staff to be professional, responsive to our needs and nurturing to our child. In our experience, the classrooms are well organized with very structured teaching strategies. The Devine School has a wonderful grasp on the needs of each child and adjusts to meet those needs. We also appreciate the open communication on a daily bases between parent and child. My son is very comfortable in this setting, has learned an amazing amount and enjoys each day.

I don’t know where to begin explaining how wonderful The Devine School has been for my girls. They love and care for each child and always have their best interest at heart. Their dedication and enthusiasm is wonderful for the kids. The teachers all work with the kids to further develop their strengths and improve upon their weaknesses. We love The Devine School and HIGHLY recommend it to everyone we talk to. Our youngest has special needs and they make sure she has what she needs to thrive. She wouldn’t be doing as well as she is without their help. We Love The Devine School!

My son has been coming since 2005 and is soon graduating from the Kindergarten program. The staff, teachers and directors are all wonderful people and have loved and taught him so much. We’ll miss them all when he moves on to 1st grade. I think he’ll be well prepared thanks to all at The Devine School

The Devine School has helped my son in so many ways. My son never liked eating. He was one of those picky children. Since he has been attending The Devine School, I feel he has improved on that bad habit and he now has a much larger food choice. I also think The Devine School helped my son improve his social/interactive skills immensely. He knows how to make friends much more easier and I’m very proud of him. I’m so glad I enrolled my son at The Devine School.

I have never felt more comfortable leaving my child with someone. The teachers truly love their jobs and the children. It’s very comforting to a working mom knowing that your child is safe and happy. The children learn so much – the curriculum is amazing.

The teachers at The Devine School are true experts in every way. When my daughter was an infant, they gave me tips that helped me get her to sleep at night. When she was a toddler, they helped me to understand her separation anxiety and helped me get her potty trained. Devine teachers helped her learn how to spear food with a fork, how to say please and thank you with sign language, and how to hold a pencil. I often thank God for The Devine School.

I am so glad we found the Devine School. It has been a very enriching experience for my daughter. She started there at age 2 and will be there through age 5.
The teachers are all very knowledgeable and helpful in nurturing the children. They use positive reinforcement and set realistic boundaries for the children.
All of the staff have been very helpful to us as parents when we have questions, or could use some advice. There is a good communication system set up by the school. Our child definitely has a good start to the beginning of her school years.

We were on the waiting list for almost 2 years and it was worth it. The teachers truly enjoy seeing the kids each morning; know the siblings and even kids not in their classroom. We never feel like the teachers are counting down kids at the end of the day to see who gets to leave (like we did at our first daycare). The directors and teachers have been very supportive with our kids' speech and occupational therapists, working with the therapists to integrate changes for our children. The center was also very supportive in identifying resources to help our son's behavior issues, as well as keeping us informed on his daily progress so we could be consistent at home. The center is very creative with special days like Muffin Wednesday, visits to the neighboring adult assisted living facility, PJ day and Parent's Night Out. They start potty training the kids shortly after they turn 2 and work with the parents so the training is consistent at home and at daycare. The Devine School makes every effort to make daycare feel like an extension of our home for our boys.

We have been a part of The Devine School family for almost nine years now. I have two boys that absolutely love The Devine School. We toured a bunch of daycares before our first was born. I was heart sick at the thought of leaving my baby with anyone but ME! Well, the staff at The Devine School made me feel so comfortable and I honestly felt the sincerity of their care for my child. My oldest grew and learned a great deal in this caring environment. Along came my second and once again, I felt completely comfortable leaving my little one in their care. Over the years, the staff and the environment changed, but everyone involved made it an easy transition for my children as well as for my husband and me. The staff is always helpful with changing circumstances and truly teach my children how to get along in daily life. They have fun and learn and enjoy the experience to the fullest. Summer time is no exception. The Devine School summer program is educational and fun and my kids have developed incredible friendships that have lasted. Kindergarten at The Devine School prepared my oldest for everything he needed to succeed in the years to come. Parents night out is also another wonderful item they offer. My kids love watching movies and playing in their jammies while my husband and I can attend to other matters that aren't kid friendly. Sometimes it's the kids who need a break from us and want to go to parents night out for fun and games. I also have to mention the wonderful menu provided by the school. Its home cooked and healthy. They get great snacks and my children have developed a wonderful sense of trying all kinds of foods and actually liking what they ate! They have Stretch and Grow from early on, which teaches them to eat properly and exercise to grow mind and body wise. My kids love the fun exercises they do. I can go on and on about the numerous things my kids enjoy and how much the school includes the parents in as much as possible so you forget about the world outside and enjoy the world inside your growing child’s mind. You are not missing out; you are included in a wonderful, nurturing, caring environment of the Devine School Family.

We are thrilled with our son's development and progress at The Devine School. Nicholas was enrolled in the Older Pre-School program in August of 2008. Prior to his enrollment at The Devine School, Nick was cared for in a home-based childcare environment. We were concerned about how Nick would adjust to a more formalized pre-school environment. With the help of the Devine School our concerns have been unfounded. We are amazed at how our son's self-esteem has grown as well as his overall personal growth, the number of friends he has make in his class, and the strides he has made academically. Also, our son loves the weekly Stretch & Grow classes as well as the physical exercise incorporated into the program.
We love the daily written reports we receive from our son's teacher. We have found the teachers are very open to new suggestions and ideas - our son is left handed so we purchased left-handed writing instruments and scissors which the teachers are more than happy to use. They are also helping our son adjust to his new glasses.
We couldn't be happier and highly recommend The Devine School.

When I moved to Allentown, I was immediately anxious about finding a daycare for my son. I was use to private individuals and not a daycare facility. I was amazed at how a daycare facility could provide such a loving environment. In addition, Christine has even driven Luke to school on occasions when there was a mess up with the bus. The Devine Staff always go above and beyond from giving me daily feedback to muffins every Wednesday morning. It’s so great to have the piece of mind that Luke is getting such wonderful care while I’m at work.

Our Daughter, Samantha, began the Pre K class this year with Ms. DB. We are amazed at how much she has learned! Even more importantly, Sammie has developed a genuine love of learning and school. The Devine School’s program gave our daughter an incredible foundation and an ideal model as a first school experience. We have found that lessons taught are creative, developmentally appropriate, and fun for the students. We feel so lucky to have our daughter being cared for by such a fantastic team. The Devine School is great. They offer a clean, structured environment for my son to learn. The instructors are always pleasant and are all certified. The Devine School is also very flexible to your schedule which is great for me and my family. I would recommend this school to anyone.
